British Powerlifting & Single Lift Records - Updated 13th January 2012
Notes on British & WDFPF Records
If you want to set a British Record at your Divisional, you must make the organisers aware of the fact prior to the lift, so they can make sure 3 referees are present for your lift. In addition, you will need to have your membership and age verified (for non-open records). However, bear in mind, not all divisional competitions meet the critera for setting British records. If in doubt check with the organisers. British record certificates are not currently available, but WDFPF world record certificates are available from Daniel Rochat. Euro and World WDFPF records can only be set at National (British) and WDFPF events. Under WDFPF rules, there can be only one National championship per year, so this rule prevents WDFPF records being set at other National Championships, such as the All England or Scottish Nationals, even if drug testing were to take place.
