British records are compiled using the "Platform" software written by Della Milbourne. This automatically compiles the records once the data is entered. Divisional record registrars are encouraged to use the same software.

To compile divisional records from the British record GBR file, proceed as follows:-

Open the GBR file and in the updates tab sort on the division column, Delete all lifters not in the relevant division. In the records tab, delete all files. Makesure all 3 files are in the same folder then open the natrecords file in excel with the GBR file already open. A new menu item called "Add-Ins" should apear. Select "POWERrecord". Click OK when pop-up menu says opening world records package. Then select GBR in the drop down menu and click "Display Records". Press "Re-start" to re-compile the records from scratch.

To update records, proceed as follows:-

Open the GBR file. Add any new lifts into the updates tab ensuring that exactly the same format is used. Note even an extra space can cause the program to stall. Open the natrecords file in excel with the GBR file already open, Note this is only required the first time the program is run. A new menu item called "Add-Ins" should apear. Select "POWERrecord". Click OK when pop-up menu says opening world records package. Then select GBR in the drop down menu and click "Display Records". Select "update" then "update all" and the program should compile.
